At NP Plastics, we see sustainability – including a responsible approach to materials and resource management – as the only way to safeguard a healthy and profitable future with continued production for our customers. We have a commitment to deliver excellence with the smallest possible environmental footprint.
At NP Plastics, the production hall is therefore maintained at the desired level by an energy-efficient indirect adiabatic cooling system equipped with heat recovery systems.
While NP Plastics had installed outdoor LED lighting some years ago, in 2018 we also replaced all fluorescent tube lighting in the warehouse and production areas with an efficient LED lighting system. The new LED lights are energy efficient, have an extended service life and a light spread that resembles natural daylight, with as added benefit an improvement in workplace productivity.
Our production waste is immediately ground up and, where possible, fed back into the production stream. At NP Plastics, we also use recycled material derived from post-consumer waste streams for specific applications. Moreover, remaining abreast of the rapid developments in sustainable materials, we have developed specific expertise in bio resins, and can thus also support our customers in their striving to achieve their sustainability goals.
